The self-adhesive absorbant surgical dressing

Mepore® Pro is a shower, viral and bacterial barrier for wounds with low to moderate exudate, surgical incisions, minor burns, cuts, and abrasions. It has optimal absorption capabilities and is designed with an easy to remove protection paper that enables aseptic as well as effortless application. It is also designed to minimise friction between the patient and their clothing/bed.

When to use Mepore Pro

Use Mepore Pro for treatment of low to moderately exuding wounds, such as surgical wounds, cuts, and abrasions. Mepore Pro should not be applied on patients who are sensitive to acrylic adhesive. When applying over joints make sure it does not inflicts with flexibility.

  • Water-based polyacrylate adhesive wound pad made of viscose with a low-adherent wound contact layer
  • Vapour permeable film provides a shower proof barrier
  • Protects from fluid strike through and bacterial contamination (microbes larger than 25 nm)
